I am a professionally trained English teacher, native English speaker, born, raised and trained in Canada. My professional qualifications include university degrees, teacher college training, and an internship with Canada's largest school board.

I have been trained in and taught IELTS, TOEFL, IGCSE (O and A levels), IB, as well as lectured at post-secondary institutions in Canada, Malaysia and China.

In addition to my professional training, I possess a host of value added experiences. This includes experience in teaching Social Sciences (Geography, History, Social Studies, Art and PE ) at many levels.

A learner centered approach is the best way to describe my methodology for teaching and tutoring. You will find me very personable in my approach and in delivery of content. Personally, I am an excellent listener who enjoys learning from other cultures and people. I understand my students needs very well!

My background includes flying airplanes, being a professional chef, motivational speaker, a media personality, personal mentor and counsellor.
