After completing my IGCSE at Sri KDU at the age of sixteen, I went to the University of Arizona where I pursued my degree in Applied Mathematics with a minor in English. I am an avid traveler and have been to many different countries including the Philippines, Japan as well as Switzerland. During my travels, I noticed the difference in the standard of living in these nations and saw the importance of youth education as children are our future. At the University of Arizona, I was fortunate enough to stumble upon an Americorps program that provided me with an opportunity to become an educator. This program imparted upon me various skills to engage students in creative teaching methodology that proves to provide measurable results.
