I have been playing chess since I was 4 years old. I played professionally till I was in 7th Grade- winning various national and international awards. Notably- I earned my FIDE rating when I was only 10 years old.

Since 7th Grade I have played some tournaments but my focus has been academics. I have completed a Masters in Neuroscience from Tata Institute of fundamental research, Mumbai and have 1.5 years of research experience as a PhD student at University of Haifa, Israel. This gives me knowledge about how a child's mind develops and I specialize in teaching young kids.

My strength as a chess coach is knowledge of human psychology and neuroscience. Using my skills in research and organization- I have created a full step by step course work for Chess Beginners. I have list of great resources for students who want to learn on their own as well.

I will provide not just technical Chess Knowledge, but also how to think, improve learning techniques and how to improve focus, attention, planning and critical thinking on the basis of neurobiology research which I have expertise in.

suggestion is to take a demo class and decide yourself

We have been taking biweekly classes from Pranali for two months. She is patient and explains the concept well. The classes are taught on zoom and lichess. After every class homework is provided in the form of lichess studies which helps in practicing the concepts taught in class. She also analyses the games played on lichess and tailors the lesson plan to address the mistakes made in the games. My daughter is happy with the classes and we have already recommended pranali to take classes for our relatives kids.

Talent and Patience!

Pranali has been tutoring Chess Online for both my children aged 10 and 6 from the past 6 months. Both my children are showing excellent improvement.
