I've had the privilege of learning Gujarati from Mrs. Divya Rana for the past two months, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the progress I've made. As someone from a culture where an entirely different language is spoken, I was initially anxious about grasping the basics of Gujarati. However, Mrs. Divya's approach to teaching has been nothing short of outstanding.

She tailors each lesson to individual needs, ensuring an enriching and personalized learning experience. Her patience, encouragement, and dedication to her students' success are truly commendable. In just two months, she has laid a strong foundation for me in Gujarati, equipping me with the essential skills required for conversational fluency and and I look forward to further enhancing my language skills under her guidance. I also highly recommend her teaching for anyone who is new to the language.

Divya is a good teacher with flexible schedule and native gujrati language experience. She focuses on the students needs and takes the course forward accordingly. I am really enjoying my experience of learning gujrati with her and made real good progress in few months. I can confidently speak and understand the language in a better way. I was trying to learn Gujarati on my own for a while through online tools and listening to conversations, but I never made progress. Finally, I thought I’d try out Divya’s classes and I had a better grasp of the language after 1 week than I'd been able to figure out for myself in years. From the beginning she teaches you what you need to know to construct sentences on your own, and she tailors our classes to my timeline and goals. She’s very patient — never makes me feel embarrassed about asking questions lots of times if I don’t understand right away. And she’s so welcoming! I felt shy about signing up for classes but she made me feel comfortable from the first time we met and now I look forward to talking to her!

Divya Rana is an excellent teacher. I have been taking classes with her for 5 months now and I feel that I have learned so much. My husband is Gujarati and I have been to India many times and it is always a challenge to communicate. When I came back this year, I set out to find a Gujarati teacher, which is when I stumbled upon TeacherOn and found Divya! I would give her 10 stars if I could!

She has been very flexible, to schedule classes that accommodate my busy life. I have learned so much about Indian culture and day-to-day things that I would have never known without her help. She has been very patient with me and can break things down in simple way for me to understand. I am very grateful that she is my teacher and I am looking forward to continuing my Gujarati education with her!

I was looking for a tutor to teach me to speak Gujarati language. As a Chinese Canadian, I expected to have great difficulty in learning the Indian language, but fortunately Divya is an amazing tutor. Her tutoring sessions are fun and easygoing, and she structures the content into easy to digest lessons as well as provides exercises for practice between sessions. She teaches in a very simple and intuitive way and spells out all the word texts in real time as we go over them to assist me in pronounciation. She genuinely cares about her students and is always there to answer questions and is patient in explaining to me all the nuances of the Gujarati language and culture. I never expected to learn Gujarati as quickly as I am now with Divya. Amazing teacher!

Divya is a great teacher! She has worked with me through cancellations during final exams, and is always willing to adjust to my schedule. She is on time to every meeting, and very attentive for the whole time. Her pricing is fair, and she is always open to help and answer questions outside of the lesson. 10/10

Divya Ma'am is a completely competent teachers for teaching Gujarati. She analysis the requirements, strength and weaknesses of the students and plans the curriculum work accordingly. She gives honest reviews every week on the development and performance of the students. She has ample patience and is really motivating. Her follow up is strong for regular classes.

I am in my second month of conversational Gujarati lessons with Divya Rana, and I strongly recommend her to anyone else wanting to learn conversational Gujarati! I wanted to learn some Gujarati to better communicate with my husband's family. Even though I haven't been taking lessons very long, I already have a better understanding of spoken Gujarati and I am learning to say simple things. I had been hoping I would slowly learn Gujarati by hearing it from my husband and his family, but I learned more in the first lesson with Divya than I did in the last five years of trying on my own!

Divya Rana is clearly invested in her students and has been going above and beyond to help me learn. She creates and grades homework assignments for me, she sends me vocabulary lists of common words and phrases, and she also incorporates discussion of Gujarati culture into our lessons. Since I am just starting out, I can be shy with speaking, but Divya is always supportive and encourages me to speak more: she even sends me ideas of subjects to talk about before our lessons so I can prepare something to say. I am confident that I will quickly improve, with her expert help! She is very knowledgeable, very patient, and an excellent teacher.

Divya has been helping me learn how to speak/write Gujarati properly. I am of Indian descent, grew up in the US, and have not learned my ancestral language properly. With her help, I am improving and learning really interesting subtle things about the language and culture. Thank you!!!

Divya does fantastic work. She is kind, professional, empathetic, and extremely patient. She knows how to break down a new language step by step so it is easier to learn. Because she knows so much about English too, she can break down Gujarati grammar in a way that an American person like me could understand. She creates and corrects homework, answers questions anytime, and is very flexible with video calls. After 5 months I have learned so much Gujarati! I highly recommend Divya! Divyaben has been teaching my daughters (age 13 and 11) Gujarati for more than 4 months. We live in California and were looking for a teacher that could connect with our kids and keep them engaged while learning Gujarati. Divya is a wonderful teacher. When I wanted to learn Gujarati so that I could communicate with my husband’s family, she quickly brought me up to a level where I could speak conversationally. This was just in a matter of a couple months! She is has a natural ability to listen and guide you based on how you are performing (and she will pivot where needed). I would recommend her to anyone looking to learn a new language!

Divya is teaching me Gujarati through English. Her knowlege of both languages is extensive. She knows how to break down a language to learn one rule at a time and slowly put it all together. She is incredibly patient and if she sees you are struggling she slows down and addresses the problem. She goes above and beyond for her students. She has made homework, tests, lists of words and phrases outside of class to further my education. She has been teaching me spoken Gujarati that is used in daily life. My Gujarati husband is surprised by my progress. She is clearly very passionate about teaching. She is also a great person to talk with and this makes the classes fun and relaxed. She has taught me so much about the Indian culture that I can finally understand and appreciate it more than I could before.
