Hello! My name is Alex and I am a Boston College graduate working in the education non-profit sector. I have a passion for both teaching and learning, and I believe that much of my passion for what I study comes from the wonderful teachers I had growing up.

I have experience with helping students throughout high school and college with writing effective academic papers and improving their reading comprehension skills. I am available for tutoring English language learning, writing practice, critical analysis of texts, and Beginners' French (A1). I keep in mind many of the qualities that my favorite teachers had: compassion, patience, and a love for the subject they taught.

I take a culturally-informed approach to my lessons, focusing on how students' strengths lend themselves to areas of study that they wish to improve. I value the exploration that proficiency with language allows for.
