The IB mission to enable all students to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect is perfectly aligned with my personal goals and objectives. My classroom is a constructive and cooperative environment where students feel safe to explore their own ideas and to discover and learn from their mistakes. My time teaching in the Fountainhead IB/IGCSE Board allowed me to utilize my skills in applying three-part lesson design and backward mapping for unit planning. I was also able to make extensive use of technology and constructivist learning tools that included SMART boards, PowerPoint, and non-commercial models as aids for teaching and learning. The delivery of curriculum was designed to meet the needs of all students including the use of a variety of models of teaching such as concept attainment and cooperative learning. I create and implement strategies and tasks that noticeably enhance my student’s proficiency in problem solving. By making learning relevant and challenging I am able to foster my student’s curiosity and eagerness for learning mathematics. Cooperative and inquiry-based learning approaches are among some of the fundamental strategies that I incorporate when conducting my lessons in mathematics. I continue to reflect on my experiences with the intent to improve my practice for the success of future students.

Super Additional Mathematics Teacher

Ruchita ma'am is excellent at teaching Additional Mathematics. She taught my daughter the Additional Mathematics from the scratch and helped her out a lot to make her concept and understanding strong. words aren't enough to tell you how much you inspire me to work hard. learning from you is great, but seeing your sheer love and care towards students is soooo beautiful. You are the best math teacher I've ever studied under, and you've made math my favorite subject from my least favorite subject! You are passionate Math educator with creative brush in the hand. An Excellent Math Teacher I have ever met

I strongly recommend Ruchita Ma'am as a Math Tutor to others, she is very helpful and explains all the concepts of math in easy and conceptual manner. She teaches tricks and makes us understand how to interpret the question easily and how our thinking should go towards solving a particular question. She is teaching me IB math in a very easy manner and provides a lot of assignment which is really helping me. She has so much of patience to explain the concept until I understand. She is full of energy and is very excited during the classes I attend.
