I am a private tutor having 16+ years of teaching experience (including 5+ years of online tutoring) and provide online* tuition** (through Zoom, Skype, TeamViewer, WhatsApp call etc.) for:
1. CBSE English (classes 5 to 12)
2. Spoken English (for students, professionals, housewives, etc.)
3. Business English, both Written and Spoken (mainly for professionals)
I also provide training for Personality Development & Interview preparation.

In today's world, there's no denying of the fact that English is the international language for communication, and having a good knowledge of English is an absolute necessity. So, it is important that in order to become successful individuals, one must be proficient in English (both written and spoken) irrespective of one's professional background.
It has been my endeavour to ensure that people who study under me (whether school children, college students, housewives, or working professionals who want to communicate more effectively in English) master the required knowledge and skills, and that they are able to apply them effectively wherever and whenever necessary.
Students who possess the determination to succeed and are ready to put in the required amount of time and efforts, and take a sincere and disciplined approach towards their studies, always perform very well under my guidance.
My teaching methodology:
(A) for CBSE English - I explain each topic in sufficient details, after which students need to undertake the necessary amount of writing practice, so that they become well-equipped to handle all kinds of questions during their examinations. I also conduct mock tests regularly to assess the students' progress on a continuous basis.
(B) for Spoken English (for students, professionals, housewives, and other individuals from various fields) - I make sure that they develop a reasonably strong base in grammar, and that they undertake sufficient writing practice (preferably on the computer with a spelling and grammar checker), as that eventually enables them to improve both their writing and speaking skills considerably over a period of time. I also encourage them to speak with me in English, so that I can track their progress. Overall, I ensure that, not only they become fluent in English, but they also feel confident while they interact in English with anyone.
(C) for Business English, both Written & Spoken (mainly for professionals) - This involves learning both written and spoken English used mainly for the world of work. After ensuring that the learners have obtained the necessary proficiency in grammar, I train them for writing and speaking more effectively, so that they learn the art of using the right words and phrases with confidence at the right time and at the right place, so that they are able to create the necessary impact at their workplace while dealing with their clients/customers and colleagues.
About me:
(I) My Qualification and Experience: I have done my MA (English) from Dibrugarh University, Assam, and I have taught in various schools (CBSE as well as Assam State Board) in Dibrugarh, Assam, and I was also associated with the APA (Assam Professional Academy), where I had mainly taught Spoken English and Personality Development. In September 2015, I shifted to Kolkata permanently (after getting married) and since then, I have been providing tuition at my residence and online.
(II) Languages I know: English, Hindi, Bengali, Assamese

- I don't provide help JUST FOR assignments and projects, except for my regular students.
- I don't visit the students' place.
- Teacher's Bureaus, Coaching centers, private institutions, other tutoring websites etc., need not contact me.
- I WON'T PROVIDE ANY HELP DURING LIVE EXAMINATIONS AND/OR INTERVIEWS, WHERE A CANDIDATE'S ENGLISH PROFICIENCY IS TESTED.
