Hello,

I am a Senior Principal Engineer working as a database expert into IT industry for more than 10 years.

Developer Profile:
I have worked on basic sql queries like simple select and fetch statements, create/alter/drop table statement, create/alter indexes and also have wrote complex queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, etc. I have worked with all the different types of SQL statements, namely, DDL(Create, Alter, Drop), DML(Insert, Update, Delete), DCL(Grant, Revoke), TCL(Commit, Rollback, Savepoint), Select(Usual Select Statement). Also, I an well versed with partioning as well.

Performance Tunning:
I would also like to mention, I have a very good expertise with performance tuning as well. Being a developer, I have encountered many complex queries/procedures that takes lot of time while executing. So, time and again, I have brushed and developed my perfomance tuning skills that helps to enhance that particular module/query.
For instance,in my previous organization, there was a reporting level query that wasn't able to fetch results, even after being allowed to execute it for more than 24 hours. Post tuning, we were able to fetch the results within an hour's time. This tuning process involved restructuring the query, joins, avoiding unnecessary tables, loops, analyzing tables and indexes and making sure each of the table used is accessed with the help of an index.

P.S. : I can even help you build and develop the logic and database code or even help in tuning it, if the problem statement is defined correctly.
