I teach western vocals professionally for the Trinity College London Rock and Pop examinations and I am Grade 8 Vocals certified. I have coached more than 100 students individually of various age groups over time from Initial grade to Grade 8.

Classes cover various vocal modulations and techniques along with the application and identification of the same in a song. Sessions skills comprising of playback and improvisation are also worked on along with own song composition and basics of recording at home. Overall the student is made concert ready.

I also teach guitar (beginner level) and help the student eventually learn to play the guitar and sing simultaneously. I will suggest checking my work on YouTube (DebanjanMusic) to get a glimpse of my musical journey/work.

I have experience of over fifteen years in the field of western music. I have performed at various places over the years as a solo artist and even in a band environment. I have performed songs ranging from various genres like classic rock, country music, soft rock, pop, ballad, reggae, etc to even Hindi and Bengali numbers.

I even play the guitar and have been playing for over twenty years and even teach beginners. I also teach how to sing and play the guitar simultaneously.

A brief note penned down by me:

Music is life. It all started when I started learning the keys and then moved on to the guitar and soon discovered that I could sing well enough. It's then that my stint with various musical performances started – right from shows in school to being part of the college band and even performing at various other venues. It has been a journey of learning and creativity. I have even composed quite a few songs which you can find in my YouTube Channel. I have composed for various brands, and few have even been played on the big screens. All these have made the musical journey even more memorable. Fee details

    ₹1,800–3,000/month (US$21.56–35.93/month)

    Per class of 45 Minutes approximately and 4 classes a month (total of 1800/-INR India, 3000/- INR abroad) (Online). It also includes practice lessons and feedback sessions apart from the classes.
    If a student wants, I can even teach the basics of guitar playing and western vocals to enable him/her to eventually be able to play the guitar and sing simultaneously.

Awesome Western Vocal and Guitar Instructor!!!!!

I am taking western vocal and guitar classes with Debanjan since August, 2020. He is a talented musician and a natural teacher. He understands his students' strengths
and weaknesses, and customizes each lesson accordingly. Lessons are never monotonous, and emphasis is on practice and execution, rather than on technical details. He ensures his students are enjoying while learning.

I strongly recommend him for guitar and western vocal lessons.

He's a great person, good teacher and has the ability to clear out things in the best possible way.

I've been training with him since 2 months and right now I've improved a lot. I'm way satisfied and confident with what I've learned about the Western Contemporary Music Theory. Training with him has given me a clear path to how to apply what I've learned in actual singing, how to represent myself in a live music scenario and keep on improving. I guess that's more than anyone can ask for and at affordable rates too.

My son's favourite music teacher.

I met Mr Debanjen in teacher on.He teaches my son western music. My son likes him very much. He is a wonderful singer, teacher. Good luck.
