I've taught subjects such as Kinematics of machines, Finite element Analysis, Computer-Aided machine drawing, Material Science and Metallurgy, Mechanical Vibrations etc.
I was a Teaching Assistant (TA) with my professor at NIT Trichy for the subject of Microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) and Computer Aided Engineering Drawing (CAED).
I was an internship student at Multiscale design and multidisciplinary laboratory (M2D2) IISc Bengaluru for 6 months. (2019).
I have hands-on experience with software such as Solidworks, Ansys Structural, COMSOL Multiphysics, ABAQUS Structural, MATLAB (programming for FEA).
I know languages such as Kannada, English, Telugu, Tamil, and (Hindi (read and write)).
I am interested in learning new languages.
Though I don't have a degree in the Kannada Language, I can teach Kannada to anyone interested (speak, read, and write) also a part of Kannada literature and grammar. Splitting a word/sentence, understanding and making you understand is my teaching style.

A friendly Kannada enthusiast whose methods are effective

I have been working in Bangalore for quite a few years but did not know to speak even elementary sentences in Kannada. Since I know Tamil very well, I thought it would be ideal to learn Kannada through Tamil. Here I found Kishor to be a perfect tutor. My requirement was to be able to speak Kannada (not literary Kannada) like the native people and he agreed to help me achieve that. After a few classes on learning the basic grammar, the learning went on by the method of translating a variety of sentences from Kannada to Tamil and vice versa. Here, he used the method of splitting the words into their root and endings and showing how they flow from logical rules. More often than not, doing so helped me see the similarities with corresponding Tamil words. Such methods proved to be very effective and now I have no problem in understanding Kannada and I am fairly good at translating my thoughts into Kannada and speaking it as well.

He has a different day job, yet the classes were regular and punctual. He was quite patient (I often kept on asking questions until I understood). Whenever I made mistakes, he immediately corrected them. Also, he is a friendly person and I actually enjoyed the classes a lot. I highly recommend him particularly to those like me who are working professionals who want to learn Kannada.
