I am Tilak Chatterjee. I am a western classical violinist and music teacher and I am presently working as a Violin teacher at Calcutta School Of Music. I have completed my Grade 8 in Violin from Associated Board Of Royal School Of Music, London and also Grade 5 Music Theory from the same board. I have a strong Indian Classical background, also completed 4th year (both theory and practical) from Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh. Since childhood it has been a dream of mine to be a music teacher and I went ahead with my dream. I was also selected as one of the youngest violin player for three days workshop (sponsored by Government of West Bengal) at Kolkata conducted by Sarod Maestro Ustad Amzad Ali Khan. In the field of western classical, I was selected as a violinist and violist of Indian National Youth Orchestra conducted by Maestro Vijay Upadhyay. I also have an experience to work as a first violinist at Calcutta Chamber Orchestra from April, 2014 to May,2016.

    I have an experience of working as a music teacher at Calcutta Centre for Music and Communication and Kalakshetra. I also worked as a guest music teacher at various schools like Ashok Hall, G.D.Birla, Sushila Devi Birla, Birla High School. Presently I am working as Violin Teacher at Calcutta School Of Music. I also worked as a Science as well as Music Teacher at Iris World School, Karimnagar, Telangana and also as an Instrumental Music Teacher at Explorica, Telangana. I also worked as a music teacher, orchestra conductor and violin teacher at La Martiniere for Boys, Kolkata for past one year.
