I am a Professor of Chemistry from the University of Colombo. I have been teaching Edexcel/Cambridge Chemistry for IGCSE/AS/ A- level for the past 8 years producing excellent results.
I also teach B.Sc. Undergraduates Organic Chemistry and Spectroscopy.
I do online Zoom classes and face-to-face classes (small group classes or Individual) in Colombo-4 and in Moratuwa.
I teach in a highly interactive friendly manner and with my in depth knowledge and vast experience in teaching chemistry, I can clearly explain and simplify concepts in chemistry and improve the students’ creative thinking and problem solving abilities. Majority of my students have obtained A* / A grades.
At the completion of each section I provided tutorials and explain clearly any difficulties the students may have so that they can clear up any doubts they have. Close to the exam students will be given the opportunity to answer recent past papers and model answers will be discussed to make sure they will get the best possible grade at the final exam.
I also encourage students to discuss difficulties informally with me at the end end of each class.
