As a retired high school Math & Chemistry teacher of 30 years and a private tutor of 30+ years, I have built a sincere passion for both subjects. I provide patience, reliability, flexibility and commitment. Tutorial sessions will motivate and inspire each individual to succeed in math or chemistry. Lessons are adapted according to needs, putting your child in the driver's seat, learning independence and organizational skills. Assistance is provided with assignment completion, skill development and review, exam preparation, extra practice and challenge problems. Each lesson is followed up with immediate feedback. Sessions may be 1 on 1 or in groups, on-line or in-person. More information can be found on my website, including testimonials, options for tutorial services, free downloadable worksheets and a small selection of video lessons. Many of my students (both youth and adults) have enjoyed honor roll recognition and university scholarships.

amazing tutor

when I got him I was failing chemistry, literally failing.. but after we worked together on one unit my average went up to 62, if I had got him sooner my average would have been in the '80s but he is amazing. he doesn't mind re-explaining as long as you understand and benefit from him.

Worth every penny!!! 100% Professional teacher

Ken is the ultimate professional. We have tried a number of different tutors for our daughter in grade 11 math. She was failing math and felt so defeated. Ken has worked miracles with my daughter and she has managed to really raise her average considerably. She has become more confident thanks to him. He uses google classroom and assigns practice to check learning, and then uses next session to fill in the learning gaps. I can’t say enough good things about him, and would not hesitate to recommend him. He is a retired teacher and knows exactly how to work with the student to help them get great results.

Understanding and easy to work with!

As a student, Ken really helped me understand concepts, my teacher was struggling to convey. Using simple antinomies and examples, you actually remember the concept longer and more clearly. Flexible scheduling, very logical and understanding.
