Having spend many years working independently as a private teacher and on entrepreneurial projects. I am a strong candidate for a wide range of roles and responsibilities across students needs. I am an-action oriented person, with strong learning agility and work ethics that strives in collaborative environment. As my children have become adults, I am looking to invest my energy in my teaching career and leverage my previous experience into new opportunities.
To teach Spanish in any level I always focus in the student needs, on his strong and weak spots to help him/her get to a higher level. As a Colombian I have the knowledge of the South American and Spain Spanish accents and differences, to teach the most universal Spanish since the Grammar is One and taking accents and modernisms away I believe my students should get the best and most Universal Spanish.
Spanish grammar is the base to strive as well as practice and pronunciation, the best a teacher can offer his students is a complete combination of this 3 elements in a very comprehensible way: functional exercises, assessments, and tailored sessions.

    as teaching is a skill I performed over the years, i had experience on the private field of teaching on one to one and small groups of children and adults. story telling, practical games and exercises, songs and more classic methods are easy for me to used based on the needs of the students. i had also teaching for 20 years on regular weekly basis cooking classes for kids and for adults. in 2020 I had a unique experience teaching special kids after schools activities: felting, knitting, gardening, waiving, ceramic and painting.
    i had also some experience on " coaching" in companies for groups of employees mainly in cooking but also in spanish and aromatherapy workshops. every year I travel to Colombia and I give weekly classes to kids as part of a special NGO program=, this involves yoga, cooking and english.
