I am experienced Phonics, English, English Grammar, Science and Maths tutor willing to take online classes for kids from KG to grade 5, both CBSE and British curriculum.
Class timings 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a. m. IST from Sunday to Wednesday. (4days a week).
I have experience of 10+ years in teaching. Over these years, I have taught students from ages 3 to 11 years old.
I am a passionate teacher, who loves working with children, contributing to their development, and helping them progress with their studies.
I am approachable, positive, patient, and encouraging with the students.
I specialize in teaching how to read and spell words.
Did you know that you don't have to memorize each and every spelling if you understand the concept of how to spell the words? Like, when to add 'k,' and when to add 'ck' to the end of words? There is a simple grammar rule for that.
Once the students understand the rule, it becomes easier for them to read and spell those words.
My teaching method is based on making the students understand the concept, get thoroughly acquainted with it, and then let them apply it. It also includes retaining knowledge by memorization and repetition.
I also keep the students engaged by asking them questions to check whether they are following the lessons well and whether or not they have understood.
I also encourage questions from the questions.
In short, I believe in adopting such teaching methods which yield results and make the students independent in learning.
