Dr. Harish holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and a Doctoral degree in Mathematics (thesis title “Wavelet methods for solving a class of nonlinear differential equations”) from IIT Indore. He is one of the youngest in the country to obtain a Doctoral degree in Mathematics. He has thorough experience in the IT industry and Government Sectors. He has worked with the Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation to attain the vision of the PM on the Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin). He has scored research publications and was awarded multiple scientific achievement awards in India, viz., National Postdoctoral Fellowship (DST), Young Achievers Award 2017, Young International travel support (DST), and others. His hobbies include driving, badminton, and traveling around the globe.

Basically, my research involves Solving different types of partial differential equations with the help of wavelets. Using MATLAB and Python for simulations and coding since 2009. Currently working on DST-SERB project entitled “Wavelet schemes for a class of multidimensional parabolic initial boundary value problems”. The project aims at numerical analysis and computational modeling of non-linear parabolic mathematical models (3D and higher dimensional) with singular and variable coefficients that occur in physical, chemical, and biological phenomena and engineering sciences. Non-linear parabolic models with singular and variable coefficients find applications in various fields. Also, the research on obtaining analytic and numerical solutions to such models is trending up. These solutions provide information on physical behavior and other physical parameters of the non-linear phenomena.
