Hello. I am Pallavi Rao and I have been tutoring from the past 6 years to students studying from Grade 1 to Grade 12. I have been teaching subjects like Math, Science, English, Social Science and even the regional language Kannada.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from The National Institute of Engineering, Mysore. I started tutoring as a part-time job during my Civil Engineering design courses. But the happiness of sharing knowledge and the sincere desire of teaching made tutoring my full-time profession.
I started off as a home tutor in Mysore where I have worked with a few sets of students of different Grades and boards, but I offer both online and offline classes now since the Pandemic.
I have been teaching students of CBSE, ICSE and State boards. I also help my students with other exams like Olympiad or competitions. Besides taking private one-on-one classes, I have even taught small group/batch of students.
I have worked with different groups of students who are interactive as well as students who are quite hesitant. From students who are weaker in concepts to very bright students.
I believe in my teaching method of making students write and learn. I keep the class interactive by making them read out, asking questions and giving them complete freedom to ask questions or clear any doubts. I have seen improved results in my students which gives me immense satisfaction in this job.
