Greetings students! I have been singing in the industry for more than the past 15years as a professional vocal grooming teacher. I sincerely believe that learning should be fun, so I teach my students using popular songs from Bollywood and even use Ghazals, Bhajans, bengali songs.

At beginner level Different types of Riyaaz, Swar Sadhana, Different Saptaks in Hindustani Music, Alankaar, Different voices, Shudh Swar, Rhythmic Swar training, Gamak, Hindustani Script, Different Taals, Different Matras, Introduction to Raagas, Aaroh and Avroh, hand demonstration of Taalas, Ekgun, Dogun and Chaugun, Swarmalika, Chota Khayal, Lakshan Geet, Taans, Lakshan Geet for Raag Bhupali, Raag Kaafi, Raag des, etc. Simple Boltaans, Alaap exploration based on ragas, a theory about Hindustani music and ragas.

PRACTICAL: Practice of Aum, Warm up vocal exercises of SARGAM. and ragas. Basics of modulations and breath controling techniques. Lyrics, song situation, selection of songs, improving and enhancing listening standards. Song memorising techniques. Identifying sounds of various instruments used.
ASSESMENTS: Assesments to monitor student progress during and after instruction. Both Theoretical and Practical. Recording of their songs by students for self assessment.
