Hi.. I'm Preeti, subliminal young and progressive indian classical kathak dancer. I have completed my kathak education in under indian heritage process (Guru shishya parampara ) I really wanna teach every technical aspect of kathak to my students that i learnt from my gurus (teachers).
Kathak is just not a dance form, for me it's the part of my soul language only the way to express your emotions towards . Only the way to worship Devine . I always teach my students to not only to copy,learn and perform actually it's my soul purpose to tech and spread the way to express your soul language .
In order of teaching ..for beginners I start from base in which I teach footwork, hand movements ... kathak spins with variety as 8 leg, 5 leg, 3 leg and 1 leg spin. I must say I give lot of importance to make strong base that take atleast 2 to 3 months ..so there will be requirement of patience always as I never teach formally .. Afterthat for intermediate and advance I always follow the syllabus so that I can teach every aspect of traditional kathak

Very understanding , patient and highly skilled

First of all I would like to say she is a treat to watch while performing . Her grace and clarity of steps are things I truly admire. Apart from being a great dancer , she is a great teacher too. She is very patient and caring . Her instructions are clear and easily understandable . Her smile while I mess up the steps or her excitement while teaching always warm my heart . I enjoy learning with her and hope you will too.

The best!!

I have been learning Kathak from Preeti ji since a month and it has been a great experience. She is a very thoughtful teacher who puts a lot of thought into how she presents the material. She is very patient with me. Even though I am a beginner, she never made me feel like one. I have learnt so much from her and the level of detailing she gives to every movement is just amazing. I would highly recommend her to anyone interested in learning Kathak.
