With almost 8 years as a teacher, I have had the opportunity to hold multiple professional roles like Music Teacher and Private Music Instructor. Through these experiences, I have been fortunate enough to educate a diverse group of students. I am an expert in teaching Hindustani classical as well as semi-classical vocal music. My goal is to instill a sense of music appreciation, while at the same time teaching students about the technical aspects of music. I have good singing skills to teach Indian classical music like raag, Alankaar, Hindustani vocal. Thank you for your time and consideration.

  • Vocal Music Teacher (Sep, 2020–Present) at Lancer’s Convent School, New Delhi
    Have been teaching voice modulation and voice culture to the students. Responsible to plan course content and methodology (via presentations). Communicate to students simple objectives for all lessons, units and activities.
  • Vocal Music Teacher (Mar, 2019–Aug, 2020) at Venkateshwar Global School, New Delhi
    Taught the subject of music to students of 6th to 10th class. Provided the responsibility to teach different song types like folk, qawwali, patriotic etc. Created lots of songs based on themes like colors in western and Classical form. Won several prizes under my leadership which are - classical and semi-classical music, “Qawwali music” and “patriotic group song” in “Zonals 2019”.
  • PGT Music (Lecturer) (Aug, 2013–Aug, 2018) at Women Technical Institute (N.D.M.C) New Delhi
    Supported work of a successful and well established music department. Taught pupils the basic principles of music and singing such as melody, beat and tempo. Whilst at the same time delivered high quality teaching, learning and curriculum development across the key stages. Taught Prayag Sangeet Samiti vocal grade 1st to 6th year syllabus. Represented the organization in various functions which happened in the building parliament of India wherein my responsibility was to prepare all the stuff (songs, bhajans, etc.) as well as train the students on the same. Trained students on various choir groups with the use of melody and harmony.
