o Avoids legal challenges by understanding current and proposed legislation; enforcing accounting regulations; recommending new procedures.
o Periodically review accounting policies & internal controls and ensure their implementation.
o Making sure that all the legal requirements are being met i.e Securities and Exchange Commission, Board of Investment, in relation to operational requirement of the organization.
o Profitability analysis with respect to line of businesses / brands, it includes period by period comparison of income and operating expenses incurred.
o Variance Analysis of operating expenses against budgets, prior years and quarters, also providing feedback to management.
o Dealing with international offices for financial correspondence.

Analysis of Detailed Financial Information
Usman was able to undertake a very complex piece of work at short notice that required detailed analysis, commentary and suggestions on a global level. He needed to work like a senior analyst but think like a CEO. His work was exemplary, no errors and he worked independently without me having to explain anything and submitted to me before the agreed deadline. Will definitely use his services again.
