Hi, I'm Bongi. I've been refining my Ndebele teaching methods for more than 2 years now. I mostly teach Ndebele online.

On your first encounter with me, you will notice that I immediately expose you to simple Ndebele words and phrases as much as possible. That's because I understand that in order for you to learn a language, you need to casually hear new words, conversations, and even music in that language.

In my Ndebele lessons, I take you out of your comfort zone and put you in a space where you immediately start speaking, reading, and writing isiNdebele. I also give you relevant assignments that will help cement everything you learn.

Most of my students are adults. They work, study, parent, nurture relationships, and have all sorts of activities going on in their lives. I aim to make sure their Ndebele learning journey is as flexible as possible to match their schedules.

    Since 2021, I have been teaching Ndebele to various students that I met online. I started off doing one-on-one lessons mostly via zoom. This year I introduced prerecorded video lessons that allow for more flexibility for my students and myself. I still give one-on-one Ndebele lessons to students who prefer them.

Fee details

    US$9–18/hour (US$8.86–18.25/hour)

    You can purchase my beginner course that teaches you everyday Ndebele Vocabulary and simple sentence construction at $35. It has a total of 20 lessons.

    The second course practically teaches you how to speak, read and write in Ndebele. This one costs $50 and it consists of 15 lessons.
