Assalamu Alaikum,
My name is Abdallah Abid and I am attending high school in Kitchener, Ontario. I am a hafith of the Quran, alhamdullilah, and I am looking to share my memorization tactics with other people. I have an ijazah in Quran memorization, and I believe that the best way in teaching Quran is to teach the meanings and how it can be reflected in our day to day lives.I believe that Quran is more than just a book you memorize, but it should be used as a way of life. So, when I'm tutoring, I like to teach the meanings first, then help with memorization. Teaching the meanings also helps with memorization because it allows you to create a sequence in your head and you will find yourself memorizing twice as fast! Lastly, I will also be teaching tajweed. Tajweed is essential to reciting the Quran and cannot be forgotten. So, in my class, I will teach the meanings of the Quran, help with memorization, and teach essential tajweed rules. Inshallah I will be able to teach your child and I am excited to hear back.
