Hi there.

Thank you for stopping by.

Are you looking for a highly motivated and acknowledged chess coach? If so, please continue reading.

I am a Norwegian-Iraqi chess coach with 15+ years’ experience (10+years’ experience with remote coaching). I am a Norwegian National Team Coach, Chess-in-School Coach, Chess Club Coach and Private Coach working with 20+ students each week.

I received the FIDE Trainer-title in 2014 and I have my own chess company, Bergen Chess Academy.

As a chess player I am rated 2200 and have the Candidate Master title. I played
the Chess Olympiad 2018 in Batumi and the World Mind Sports Games in 2008 in Beijing, both
representing Iraq.

Originally from Iraq, lived in Norway for the last 12 years and have become a Norwegian citizen.

I can coach in three languages; English, Norwegian and Arabic.

I am flexible on training hours, as long as it is not in the middle of the night :-)

It is important for me that the training lessons are educational and enjoyable at the same time, as well as keeping the communication with the student professional but also easy going. My students can contact me any time!
