I am a One Diamond Debate Coach from the United States who has been coaching Speech & Debate at the highest levels for the past 8 years.

In my time coaching my teams have twice won the NSDA National Debate School of Excellence Award (Recognizing the top 20 debate schools in America), won 7 team State Championships across two different states, and I have been awarded the Donus D. Roberts Excellence in Coaching award by the National Speech and Debate Association. This summer I received my First Diamond at NSDA Nationals in Phoenix.

Some highlights from the 2022-23 season include:

-coaching the 3rd seed in Lincoln Douglas Debate @ the Harvard Invitational out of a field of 231

-coaching two sophomores to place 5th in the nation in Policy Debate @ NCFL Grand Nationals last weekend in Louisville

-coaching two sophomores to auto-qualify to the 2024 NCFL Grand Nationals in Policy Debate

-coaching a sophomore to 10th place in the nation in Lincoln Douglas Debate at the NSDA National Championship

-coaching a sophomore to auto-qualify for the 2024 NSDA National Championships in Lincoln Douglas Debate

-coaching a sophomore to auto-qualify to the 2024 Tournament of Champions in Lincoln Douglas Debate

-coaching 2 students to top 16 finishes in Lincoln Douglas Debate @ the Tournament of Champions

As a debater I was recognized as an all-American by the NSDA, won 3 State Championships including a State Championship in Policy Debate, and made it to the late elimination rounds of the NSDA National Championships in back-to-back years, placing in the top 30 in the nation.

I have a long history of coaching a variety of debate events, and debaters of all skill-levels. My goal for all students regardless of skill level is improvement. I will teach your child to be a problem-solver, and to think both critically and strategically.

I am a patient teacher with expert level experience in Speech and Debate. If your child likes to laugh and is a hard worker, we will get along!
