I was raised in the UK, and have lived the majority of my life in the US - travelling and teaching in different countries in between.

I thoroughly enjoy helping beginners to learn the English language, and I like to have fun whilst teaching, I believe that implementing fun, allows beginners to relax and not to feel too overwhelmed.

My teaching style can be interchangeable, from the directing style - which promotes learning through the use of listening and following directions. The discussing style - learning through interaction and the delegating style, which promotes earning through empowerment. I also like to include virtual activities within the curriculum, this makes learning more interesting than the traditional style of sitting in the classroom and copying everything down from the board or from a book.

I enjoy reading, researching, walking and meeting new people of all different cultures. I have taught both primary school and ESL adults in The Middle East, as well as a plethora of different cultures online

My goals are to provide English instruction to classes or individual students, developing a curriculum which takes an overall approach to English, focusing on specific aspects of language use.
