Hi there! I am Maryam, a native Arabic language speaker. I am a graduate of the world renowned Al-Azhar University, also the world’s oldest Islamic University. There I learnt advanced Arabic language grammar, literature and poetry. I also have a Quran Ijazet in Qira’at Hafs from one of world’s highest readers Shiekh Misbah El-Dosoky in the third degree. I had wonderful experiences in teaching adults and children and it was incredible to watch them grow with me.
I can teach students formal Arabic (Fus’ha): grammar, morphology, conversation, conversation in local Egyptian dialect (Ammiye). I can also help you in reading, writing and listening if you need. When it comes to Quran, I can teach you to recite Quran with proper Tajweed (elocution) and help you memorize Quran on a reasonable schedule tailored to your ability.
