Hello Students
I have recently received my Ph.D. degree
The topic of my doctoral study was to elucidate the role of hypothetical mycobacterial protein in the modulation of oxidative stress by maintaining peroxisome homeostasis inside the infected host. My primary expertise is in the field of infection biology and immunology
During my doctoral study, I had hands-on experience in microbiology, cell biology, and immunology-based techniques (such as cloning, pathogen handling, cell maintenance, transfection, RT-PCR, western blot analysis, flow cytometry, and microscopy). Thus, I have sound knowledge of the advanced techniques and basics of life sciences. Over the years have developed the skill to formulate new scientific ideas and troubleshoot experiment-based failures with scientific intellect. I am very fond of interacting with students and taught MSc and SY BSc students.
My work has been published in international peer-reviewed (Cellular Microbiology and Frontiers in Microbiology). In addition, I have co-authored several other projects and had the opportunity to present the work at several international and national symposiums. Thus, I am well versed with the available fellowships, positions in universities (both national and international) thus can aid in career counseling.
