Raghava sir, has been extremely patient and gentle, I wish I had more teachers like him through out the years, His communication and level of command over music is amazing, answers all my questions and clarifies all my doubts thoroughly.

First of all he is keen to listen my doubts thereby suggesting if I am on the track or not in improving myself. He always recommends to practice more to be better oneself A. Teacher can only do so much with little time that he has rest is up to the student on how well he/she practices and focuses. Raghava Sir, has been a great help when comes to my music journey , never made me feel like I started it too late and understands my capacity and teaches according, would recommend him to anyone who is interested.

Coming to Raghava Sir after taking many years break from Sangeetham I was initially nervous, but Raghava Sir is very kind and thoughtful with his teaching. Since joining I have learned so much about Carnatic music theory and am progressing past what I learned with previous teachers. Additionally, Raghava Sir is very accommodating and understanding with time zones and it is very clear that he cares about his students a lot. If you are wanting to take Carnatic singing lessons I highly recommend taking lessons from Raghava Sir.

Enjoy my vocal music class with Raghav sir for the last 7 months. Appreciate his habbit of sending audios after every class. This is of great help and could learn many varnams. Will sincerely recommend him for all.

I have been learning Carnatic music and slokas from Raghava sir for the past two years. He is very knowledgeable in music theory and helps one learns at their own pace from the basics to advanced concepts. He also is flexible with timings and adjusts to my schedule. This is very helpful to me as I stay outside India. I really enjoy learning from Raghava sir.

Learning classical can be tough, and one may get bored and opt out easily in the beginning itself if the teacher is making it difficult for you, or rather if the teacher is not making it easy for you. However in case of Raghav sir it has been a very smooth ride. He is very patient, and his teaching style is such that you automatically get in to the groove. He is knowledgeable, and well versed with finer details. Also he himself is a good singer. Enjoying learning from him. Best Regards.

I recently started training under Raghava sir about 6 months ago. He spent the necessary time to understand the capabilities and aspirations and adjusts his teaching style to match those. He is very knowledgeable and patient to help out even when it is a difficult concept and it is immediately not obvious. He is also a humble person who makes the students comfortable at the pace which is most natural for their learning. I would surely recommend him for your learning needs.

Raghava Garu has been teaching my son since 4 years. He is a very talented and patient teacher. For a remote teacher he understands the kid too well that my son does not need any motivation to attend the class, he looks forward to it. He is very reasonable with price, also when he misses a class he never charged me for that..

I began my journey to learn Carnatic vocal music a year back and I'm grateful that I found Raghava Sir. He teaches from basics with utmost patience and emphasizes on sharpening skills through practice. For making practice convenient he sends recordings of the music class after each tutorial and once we send our practiced recordings back, he listens patiently and gives honest feedback about where and how to improve . He is good mentor, encourages ones to practice, has in-depth knowledge of the subject he teaches and very patient in adapting to my style of learning and gives honest feedback. I believe, a teacher can guide through the what's and how's of a music , ultimately it all comes down to how effectively and repeatedly one practices and he is excellent in bringing the best out of the students.

I have been learning carnatic music from raghava sir for an year.I highly recommend learning from raghava sir. Apart from carnatic music I am also learning solkhas and keerthanas (vishu sahasrananam, soundarya lahari, annamayya and thuagaraja keerthanas) he adjusts to once’s pace to make it easier for learning and understanding.

I would like to thank sir for helping me in Carnatic music. Since I had no knowledge previously i was quite reluctant to begin my journey. But thanks to sir for keeping patience with me and guiding me with basics n sending recorded videos regularly. I could definitely notice good improvement in myself over a period of few months not just in my voice but also getting knowledge about music. Raghava garu very is kind, friendly and patient .He is a gifted musician but also highly skilled at teaching.He is very flexible in his schedule and and has a fantastic rapport with his students .I was quickly able to pair.I myself made a definite progress in Carnatic Music under his guidance with no pressure.I highly recommend him as a teacher as well as a guide.

Mr. Raghava is a very good teacher. His main focus and approach on perfecting fundamentals is very good. If the foundation is strong, a student can grasp quickly. I have been learning from him carnatic vocal. He sends the notes before the class and helps out with any clarifications. I really appreciate his hard work and the way he adapts teaching technique based on students requirement. Thank you so much ?

I was very hesitant to start learning music at the age of 30 and Raghava Sir has made me feel very comfortable. He is very patient in teaching and flexible in terms of scheduling classes.
Has a very good sense of teaching and I enjoy his theory classes as well.
He will give us big support and confidence in studying and singing Carnatic music lessons. I learned the basics, more than 15 varnams, and various Krithis from him. It's been more than 2years since I'm learning from him and I would definitely continue learning from him for a long time.

I have known Raaghav for a year and half. My kids are getting trained under him and a more comfortable in learning than before. Raghava’s simplified teaching adds a new value to the coaching. I always emphasizes kids have to do more self practice thant depending on teacher. No teacher can help a disinterested Child.
To my knowledge, Raghava is good in his subject

Says 1 hour classes in the initial agreement, but never takes 1 hour; takes only 30-35 minutes. No regular assessments of the student's progress. No periodic reviewing of students deficiencies or abilities. Misses classes without replacement classes, but never misses taking fees (even for the missed classes). Suddenly increased fees that too without notice which was never in the initial agreement.

Took classes for 1 year. Realised it's a costly mistake for bearing all the drawbacks for such a long time. Changed the teacher. My son is now with a new teacher and has shown a tremendous progress in just 4 months.
