I am Mishel Fernando, a BSc (Hons) Biomedical Engineering (UG) with CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English for Speakers of Other Languages) and a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certification. I have been teaching English language and Biology for more than 4 years, both online and offline for both young learners and adults.

I have experience in teaching students of all levels in a variety of settings, focusing a student centered classroom. I always plan my lessons with student friendly activities which can enhance the student's knowledge. I also prepare my own worksheets lesson plans and the syllabuses for each level
that I teach.

My English language lessons are always focused on reading, writing, listening, speaking, vocabulary and grammar with variety of activities, while the biology lessons are focused on theory, past paper practice and discussions.

It is my goal to combine my range of experience with my ability to be a compassionate, enthusiastic, intelligent teacher who will make a positive contribution to my students.
