Hi! I'm a passionate learner and teacher in Political Science, Philosophy, History, International Relations Theories, Intersectionality, Post Colonialism, and Gender Studies. I will implore you to step outside the well-taken roads of knowledge production and learning. Academically and by profession, I write extensive and well-researched articles, blogs, opinion pieces, research papers, and thesis.
For students, I Prefer:
- A relationship of equality and mutual interest, rather than egoism and intimidation.
- Tests/assignments that are explorative and encourage creative ability, with memory tests only if you want to include them.
- To help the student develop a healthy relationship with their results and "failure".
- To have the relevant topic outlines beforehand so I can prepare engaging material and activities
- To make an hour with me a focused and intense learning experience- requiring full presence.
I am:
- Non-judgemental and gentle
- Open to constructive criticism, plus questions and followups regarding my instructions
- Easy-going and can achievable targets around your schedule. You would also have to respect my boundaries of time regarding my own allocated time.
-Open to being an "accountability partner" for small tasks and deadlines, especially if you struggle with mental health.

Experience

  • Internship (May, 2018–Nov, 2018) at Allied School
    I was a substitute teacher for grades 3rd-10th.
    Subjects: Science, Maths, History, English Literature and Language, Biology.
    I planned interesting dialogs and activities to make them -want- to know more about the given subject.
    Though I am now Agnostic, teaching children in a madrassa from 14-16years of age also allowed me the patience and compassion it takes to make work interesting for teens.
