I am an experienced language tutor and trained as an applied linguist.
For more than 12 years, I have been teaching French and English as foreign or second languages.
I have had the privilege to facilitate the learning of French and English to hundreds of learners from around the globe, with various socio-cultural backgrounds and from all age groups/levels (nursery, primary, secondary, tertiary, adult, professionals in international institutions).
My teaching style is based on compassion, empathy, and humour to make learning enjoyable.
I am quite flexible with the choice and adaptation of my teaching methodology while considering the learners' specific needs and capabilities.
Besides, I have always built great interpersonal relationships with my learners as I strongly believe this plays a significant role in making the learning experience successful or otherwise.
Of course, all of these lose relevance if the tutor lacks competence and self-confidence. Rest assured I have the necessary skills, certifications, and credence to deliver on the tutoring job assigned to me.
I am well conversant with technology and digital tools that could aid learning and teaching.

    I have been teaching French and English to high-profile officials of the African Development Bank, Abidjan, both online and face-to-face. Basically, my mission has been, for some to teach from scratch while for others, to strengthen their level of proficiency. All in all, my ultimate goal has been to make the Bank's officials confidentially bilingual in order to fit in professionally and socially, considering the multicultural and multilingual environment where they would serve.
