I am a passionate biology teacher with a robust experience of 12 years in teaching biology in IGCSE, IB and various graduate and undergraduate levels. I started my career as a quality control executive in a MNC, but after one year, after much soul searching, journaling, silent lamenting and deeply contemplating on what I wanted to accomplish, I accepted my authentic career truth; teaching Biology was my calling. Teaching was my ultimate choice rather than a chance to take that profession.
My academic qualifications are excellent and became college topper during graduation. I took my masters in Biotechnology and my passion for the subject never ends there. I hold a Diploma in Recombinant DNA Technology and a Bachelor of Education from Kerala university.
I started my career in teaching in Mahatma Gandhi University in 2006. My effective and Passionate teaching style had brought several ranks to my beloved students and laurels to the institution. My thirst for teaching and quest for knowledge and learning opened me a new arena of online tutoring. I was one among the most valued teacher for American students at growing stars’ company. My class and interview was broadcasted in one of the radio stations in America. For the Past 10 years I am working as a postgraduate Biology teacher in MES INDIAN school, Doha, Qatar and moreover I am a part time tutor for Qatari students belonging to IGCSE, AS and IB curriculums. I have been instrumental in participating in several medical exhibitions in Qatar and bringing accolades to the institution. I always motivate my students and engage, instill curiosity in them and enthusiastically make them participate in the learning process. I use ppt, diagrams and smart interative tools like graphic tablets and pen and animations to understand the concepts clear and concise. A analyse and evalute the studenst with dianostic tests and periodic assessments. My teaching methodology has been so successful which resulted in increase in the number of students who opts for Biology in my institutions.
12 years of teaching has given me a humungous experince in understanding the students need and mold my teaching styles and methodologies according to the level of the students. I have a strong ability to build positive relationship with students, staff and Family members with differing communication styles and diverse backgrounds and has excellent skills and talent for incorporating technology into lessons including smart board and interactive tools.
I feel I was a Catalyst in Kindling interest in Biology in the young minds. According to me Biology is the science of Life, It’s a science of exceptions, It’s a science of diversity and curiosity. Biological principles are involved even from the germination of seeds to recombinant DNA technology and cloning, it should be taught in an interesting way by involving fun and evoking curiosity in the young minds. The Role of a teacher should be like a facilitator, who should instill curiosity in the minds of students and Education should aim for the holistic development of the students not merely the completion of portions.

Mr Vibin is a calm, thoughtful and patient teacher and very good in his art

Due to some health reasons, my child had not been able to prepare for her 10th std second semester exams. We were even contemplating skipping the exams altogether. It was less than two months ahead of the exams that we decided to get some online help. While posting my requirements in TeacherOn, I was not sure whether I would get some realy useful guidance. Yet, I decided to give it a try. And I am glad that I did. Within a few hours, almost half a dozen tutors contacted me. All of them appeared good enough. Now it was tough to choose one of them. There was no time to try each one and then decide. I trusted my instincts once again and booked a demo session with Mr Vibin. It went great. Now there wasn't any need to have any more demo sessions. My daughter who usually finds biology somewhat boring or uninteresting, really liked the way he explains. The way he presents the subject, generates interest and curiosity in the students. He makes the subject interesting and explains in a very lucid manner that enhances the learning. Mr. Vibin is actually a very thoughtful, kind and patient teacher who makes the students feel at ease. He makes effort to understand the student and their situation and is always ready to accommodate accordingly. I feel the most important thing in any formal learning situation, is the teacher student rapport. And I must say Mr Vibin is very good at it. It has been just a few sessions with him and my daughter already feels confident enough to face the exams. I am really very grateful to him for this timely help and would strongly recommend him to all who need guidance in biology.
