I have done Ph.D. from Delhi University in Plant Molecular Biology. The title of my thesis is “An analysis of genetic diversity, niche modeling and transcriptome of endosperm developmental stages in genus Nymphaea: an important water lily from ANA grade with diploid endosperm.”
I have qualified GATE, CSIR-NET-JRF, and ARS-NET.
The areas of my interest are plant molecular biology, genetics, bioinformatics, and data analysis. I am particularly interested in the origin of angiosperms, and exploring the presence and behavior of imprinted genes in basal angiosperms to understand the evolutionary forces that drive imprinting which in turn will provide insight into endosperm origins.
I have been tutoring students in the field of biostatistics, bioinformatics, data analysis in R, genomics, transcriptome analysis, and plant molecular biology.
