I am female mathematics teacher who is passionate about her profession. I love helping students succeed in mathematics and other areas in which i am capable. I am understanding, patient, outgoing and have my students interest at heart. Learning mathematics with me is so much fun. My students are free to make mistakes and then learn from their mistakes. I target each students needs and we work on it together. Being a female mathematics teacher has helped to demystify the concept of mathematics in the minds of my students and community at large and it also erases the stereotype notion people have about mathematics being and meant to be taught only by only a man. It has increased the interest of a lot of female students to be part of mathematics lessons. I make my students see all the advantages that comes with studying mathematics by relating my lessons to daily life.
