I have had many experiences with the kids during my home tutoring sessions and have a better understanding on methods that need to be followed in teaching, for the children to reap its best benefits.

Memorizing the words and lessons are not at all beneficial to learn a language like English. Hence the kids need to have a very good foundation on the grammar to feel the language. Going forward, the vocabulary, accents and the ability to speak without fear can be taught, by letting them practice. Only what a good teacher need to give a student is, effective motivation by guiding them to find sources where they can grab hints to install the language in them. Once they start liking it, they will look for it.

Appreciating the little achievements in their learning, always help to keep them on track. So I will be more focused on grammar in initial stages and all the grammar lessons will be covered with frequent examinations. Later on, the beauty of the language will be taught motivating them to translate other languages to English as a technique.

What I believe is, a person has to use the language frequently in order to learn it, as its not just a subject. We all have things to learn in a language until we die. So I'm sure that my method helps the students to build their own confidence to use the language without fear and practice it on their own.
