My name is Jean most of my student specially the younger ones calls me grandma since I am one. I have been an Esl teacher for more than 4 years and hopefully more years to come.

My teaching method involves using templates, tools, reinforcement materials like activities  and most of all a cordial and friendly greetings  by these means we can gauge the level capacity of the student from the first few minutes. In order to build rapport with the students it would be wise to know their likes and even dislikes to incorporate in our strategies to catch their attentions.

For toddlers, teens and  adults students I also teach them a lot of grammar rules as I believe they can grasp them eventually and helps them in their oral skills. Spelling also for me is one of the key elements to aid them in reading. Listening and writing are also main highlights to learning English effectively. I can also assist in IELTS AND TOEFL of which my student passing scores are all satisfactory.

We need to make sure we lead in, invite the learner to Contribute by encouraging them to participate and answer even rewarding in every right answers, stimulate their learning by having visual aids like taking screenshot or using a camera app tools like Manycam to reinforce learning and understanding. Toys or flashcards can be a plus to in learning. Tpr or total physical response comes in handy like face and hand gestures. I also have educational videos related or pertaining to our lessons to make it engaging.

The most important thing is to create that connection, friendly, jovial and homey atmosphere to make them relax, enjoy and return to class.

Dont forget prior to Class ending to give them constructive criticism and ways to improve their abilities vice versa if they could also rate the teachers so we can also improve our capabilites as a tutor. Feedbacks are vital to both students and teachers.

Well that's about it the rest comes in naturally in very class or student as each has their own distinct personalities, learning intentions and levels of education.
