Hi. My name is Sophia from the Philippines, and welcome to my private class. Learning English and being able to use it to communicate is important in so many ways. That is why I am here, to help you enhance your English ability in a manner that is best suited to your level, goal and learning pace.

I believe learning should be done in a fun and engaging way. In our class, we will explore the best learning strategy for you and we will include learning activities like games, English videos, worksheets, reading, writing, speaking and listening challenges to see and monitor your progress.

I took up Bachelor of Early Childhood Education and have been taking teaching trainings and seminars to be updated on the different teaching strategies I can apply in our class. I am also taking TESOL/TEFL course to learn more so I can help you achieve your learning goals immediately. I have more than 3 years of experience teaching English as an ESL tutor and I’m still planning on having more years, but hopefully with you in my class too!

I can create a customized lesson according to your English level so you do not have to be afraid if you are a beginner learner or an advanced learner already. I teach students as young as 4 years old and I have several testimonies and feedbacks from parents and families, affirming that I had helped their child to read, write and speak English and they are so excited that they see results after 20 lessons but of course, it is a team effort.

My teaching approach is very flexible as I know students’ learning style varies. I will always observe and look at your learning abilities. During our trial lesson, we will do an assessment and from there we will create the best course and action that will focus on your strengths and improve your weak points too.
