With my extensive research background in biological and chemical sciences and as a Doctorate in Biophysics and 6 years of experience of teaching, it is my pleasure to submit the enclosed resume for your review. I am engaged in teaching Biology and ESS at MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul World school for IBDP, as well as I am a CAS advisor and Homeroom teacher.
Lesson planning, needs assessment, and engaging educational techniques are just a few areas in which I have gained experience and expertise. Furthermore, my commitment to fostering collaborative and exciting educational environments positions me to successfully encourage and develop productive, thoughtful, and accomplished biology students. I am adept in test score improvements and technology use in the classroom. I excel at maintaining classroom order and discipline with effective measures, coordinating tutoring hours with other teachers to help students, mentoring students one-on-one to improve test scores, documenting lesson plans, grades, and progress updates.
I know how valuable is teacher’s encouragement and motivation is for personal motivation. I intend to motivate students while teaching them to be intrinsically motivated through challenging yet supportive lessons and assignments. I believe it is also important to help the students develop their social and interaction skills, and will do this with group work and activities.
Due to research background and a practical demonstrator and research associate, I am aware of Practical session management and supervision, maintaining the stock of chemicals, glassware and equipment needed for each practical session, to help students and researchers in conducting experiments, research and projects.
