I know the exams inside out and I am aware of what nbmes test for which most students can't figure out during the prep. Despite very good resources students still find it difficult to organize the content and thus making it difficult for them to apply it during test day.

My teaching method is as follows:
1. I start with a basic over view of the subject/system
2. Then I help you memorize high-yield concepts. Yes, I used the word memorize! because if you cant verbalize a concept in just one line, you don't know it!
3. Then we start doing questions. I do them with you for the first few days. I teach you exactly how to apply the concepts. Then once you get hands on the intricacies, I then ask you to do it on your own. I supervise you. Observe your mistakes in answering questions and then give you my feedback after every question.
4. I teach you how to make flash cards out of each question.
5. I Schedule regular recall sessions where we go through the active recalls so that we never forget what we studied

I have been tutoring for the past 4 years and because of this, I can quickly assess the specific needs of students. I know methods to break the scoring plateau as I applied these during my own prep.

My teaching style is simple but effective. I focus on the exam from the start and by the time a student reaches the test date, he/she is well prepared and confident.
