Clinical Psychologist & Assistant Professor by profession. Psychology is a study of human behavior wherein adapting real life case studies and research pedagogy helps educate budding psychologist at par. Adapted teaching as a means of educating young adults about their psychological health and making them as a mental health advocate wherein mental health campaign are designed as a means of creating awarenes at community level. Designing assignments including shadow a professional which gives students a glimpse and experience of the profession they are likely to go ahead with and movie analysis based on their module. Research project, paper writing and critical analysis of research paper gives a student an understanding about its importance and relevance in the respective field. Working with cancer patients as part of my doctoral degree wherein psychological intervention was provided to help them deal with their anxiety and psychological distress made me gain strength and interest in educating and creating awareness amongst community regarding importance of psychological health.
