As I wish to transition into part-time academic teaching, I believe that my skills and background makes me a fit for the job. I want to be part of this platform because I wanted to embark, not only academic lessons, but also life lesson on students. This pandemic has been drastically affecting student’s life and I wanted to serve as an example, not only on pursuing their respective courses, but also pursuing and striving for a life inside and outside communities. I wanted to aspire students that if they believe that they can, then they are halfway there. I did have my personal struggles in college, but I overcame everything that crossed my way, and now it’s been almost four years since I became a Licensed Civil Engineer. It has been a bittersweet journey but, in the end, it is all worthwhile.
As this chance came along, I wanted to extend a helping hand to struggling students and parents as well and be of service in whatever possible ways that I can.

As of now, I do online video tutorials through zoom and google meet. I ask my students to provide the lesson/topic ahead at least a day before the actual session so that I can prepare a lesson plan. My lesson plans are in form of GoodNotes and can be converted into pdf. During the session, I do share my screen so that the student can see the lesson plan. I discussed page by page, with utmost clear explanation. I do also repeat the explanation as needed until the students clearly gets it and entertain questions. After the session, I do provide pdf copies of the lesson.
