I obtained my doctoral degree in organic chemistry, specifically working on protein folding and to show how chemical problems can be translated to mathematical problems in determining the potential energy surfaces of biomolecules. Over the course of my subsequent career as a Postdoctoral Fellow in multiple research groups internationally, I have further developed my research skills in theoretical chemistry, machine learning, and high-performance computing as applied to the fields of astrochemistry, transition state theory, and solid-state physics. I have an in-depth understanding and extensive experience across multiple areas of expertise and sincere interest for the physical and life sciences., I have had opportunities to significantly develop my interpersonal and communication skills through my work as a university lecturer, Prof and head of the department and as a sessional professor of organic chemistry.
