My lessons always ensure engagement yet productivity whilst meeting individual needs. It’s important to ensure pupils feel comfortable to make mistakes and so my lesson values a positive culture accepting of errors as key learning opportunities. I also believe all lessons must be flexible to be able to meet the needs of pupils based on formative assessment which means continuously monitoring progress and response to the teaching strategies used. Thus, pupil feedback is also vital which means I often check in with pupils about how they feel about their progress and if they prefer particular learning methods.
