I am a FIDE (World Chess Federation) qualified Chess Instructor/Coach, who has been conducting offline and online chess instruction for over 15 years. My previous offline students who transitioned to online coaching during the Covid period is now enjoying online tutoring more because of the improved inputs and the ability to save travel time.

English is my preferred teaching language. My Hindi is also quite fluent. Malayalam is my Mother tongue.

I am a self taught chess player with over 40 years of experience. I completed in numerous open and national chess tournaments, as well as National /international correspondence chess championships. I was the Chess Champion of all India Ordnance and Ordnance equipment Factories.

Chess is my passion, and I have had the pleasure of coaching and guiding numerous children to good positions in various age level tournaments.

Every week, I host an online chess competition on lichess.org which almost all of my students enjoy participating in. During chess instruction I evaluate selected games / positions for correctios/improvements.

My Peak FIDE rating is 1771 while my current ICCF (International Correspondence Chess Federation) rating is 2184.
