I teach Bhagavadgeetha Shlokas with meaning, Sanskrit Slokas, Stotras, and Vedic chants such as Mantra Pushpam, Purusha Suktham, Sri Suktham, Narayanopanishath, Vishu Sahasra nama, Aditya Hrudayam, etc. I teach Hindi especially Kabir ke Dohe, Tulsi ke Dohe, Hanuman Chalisa etc. I also teach Telugu devotional poems such as Potana Bhagavatham and Dasaradhi Satakam. I can tell moral stories from Indian epics such as Ramayana, Mahabharata, Bhagavatha. and Upanishads. I enjoy the company of children and make them feel comfortable. I can attract their attention and hold it since they enjoy my classes.
When it comes to my class for Yoga or Shlokas for children, it works like a package. I teach communication skills and morals through stories and shlokas. For instance, I take Lord Rama as an example and explain how he dealt with different situations calmly and boldly and what principles he stood for. While teaching elders, I focus on the explanation of inner meanings and Bhakthi aspects.

My son adores him!
Somayaji sir is a passionate and kind teacher who understands the child well before he even starts teaching. He is well-versed and, importantly, a gentle, kind-hearted, and soft-spoken person. My child has learned many slokas and is also able to recite them with confidence. He combines them with mythological stories to make the class more interesting. In conclusion, I would recommend him to kids, adults, or anyone who wants to learn slokas the right way.

Amazing & Very Amicable
He is a very wonderful teacher. He is very punctual and very amicable. He teaches yoga asana's according to issues you have. My mom who has spondylitis & arthritis has seen a drastic improvement in short period of 2months. I would highly recommend Sir Sitaram .

Both of my kids love him
The best teacher we found on TeacherOn is Mr. Sitarama sir, he has a vast knowledge on Slokas, mythological stories, indian culture and many more.
He is a yoga guru, he makes kids believe that yoga will bring flexibility and strength to the body and peaceful to the mind.
He makes the class very interesting with the combination of Yoga, slokas and stories. Even I join the yoga classes with my kids.
I would definitely recommend Mr. Sitarama sir for Kids, Adults, Elders and to total family.

Most passionate teacher
Somayaji Sir has been teaching Yoga to my husband and Slokas to my son. My son has connected very well with him and loves his class. He enjoys the short stories he teaches in the class and has been chanting slokas very well. My husband is learning Yoga from sir for weightloss and is already seeing benefits. Sir gives lots of tips and also has created a personal food chart for my husband. He is a very passionate teacher, and makes his classes interesting.

Flexible, Kind and Patient in his Approach!!
I have been Sitaram sir’s student for over a month now and my experience with him has been great so far. He is extremely kind and patient in his approach, which really helps if you are a beginner. He was open to modifying and structuring his course based on my needs and abilities, which ensures that I get the most out of his class. Sitaram sir’s class goes beyond just physical aasanas, and he also shares his knowledge of Shlokas. The fact that sir doesn’t teach in large groups, ensures his undivided attention on the student where he is observant of every small movement I do, ensuring I understand the correct way of doing each aasana along with its benefits and context. I definitely recommend him if you are looking for a Yoga Guru who is genuinely interested in helping you achieve a better version of yourself. I will continue learning from him in the future as well!

Best Teacher for kids
We live in the US but we wanted our daughter to be in touch with our roots in India. So we approached Sitaram for this and we are really happy with his teaching. Our daughter can now recite multiple slokas in sanskrit along with the meanings. She very much looks forward to these classes. He also tells mythology and moral stories to our daughter which make the classes more interesting for her. We are really glad to find such a teacher. Would definitely recommend for parents like me who are living abroad and want their kids to know and learn Indian values from childhood.

Excellent Yoga and Mindfulness Teacher
Been a student with Sitaram guruji for over 8 months now and I have had a great experience as a student. He teaches according to the skill level and I feel very comfortable with his teaching methodology. My stress levels have reduced and I have become a much better version of myself physically and emotionally. Along with Yoga Sitaram ji also sometimes tells mythology stories, small slokas etc which is an added bonus. I would 100% recommend learning Yoga and mindfulness from Sitaram Guruji.
