I am Andrew Jarque Deuda, 35 years old a Filipino and a devoted husband and a father to three children. I am a licensed chemist (license # 0010437) as well as a licensed professional teacher (license # 1307807) in my home country. Before I become a teacher I was a laboratory analyst in a mining company, I was trained how to analyze copper, zinc and gold form its ores; as well as do titrimetric analysis for the presence of cyanide in water. Since I finished Bachelor of Science in Chemistry I was able to developed a strong foundation on the principles of chemistry. I took academic units to get a certificate and license to practice as a chemistry teacher. I have been in the teaching profession for almost 13 years now. I have always been inspired to teach and to see my students grow and to be able to share with them the knowledge that I have also acquired. I teach undergraduate students as well as high school students taking the IGCSE and AS level Chemistry based on the Cambridge Curriculum. I always believe that I was drawn into this profession, through years of teaching I was able to incorporate my love for chemistry with the methods of teaching. I always try to use different approach to teach the most complex and perplexing ideas and concepts in chemistry in a way that the average student can understand. I have found that each student is unique and must not be criticized but rather they should always be encouraged to always think out of the box. To bring out the best in them. I personally believe that teaching is a noble profession, and that I have a sacred duty to teach, develop and help inspire students to fully understand the value of education.
