I am a seasoned educator and tutor who strives not only to teach students content-specific skills and information. Rather, I have focused on both depth and breadth in the subject areas of English language, literature, literacy and composition. To this effect, it is important to teach not only English language. However, it is equally important to be capable and able to express the relevance of learning English language by today's standards, as well as it practical application and usage in real-life situations. In sum, I am proficient in teaching ESL and ELA content, and I am also able to bridge and navigate the gaps that exist within languages, the content areas and cultural shifts in both relevance and comprehension using both grammatical and communicative approaches. Therefore, I am an asset to any educational environment and educational service that embraces me. Finally, I am a great teacher, instructor and educator because I understand that teaching is still a noble profession that also requires establishing and maintaining positive rapport and professional standards with both children and adults. I excel in each of these aspects.
