Hi,

I am a skilled professional having experience in both academia and the software industry. I have been working in academia in Computer Science for 4+ years and I also have worked as an Associate Software Engineer at Virtusa Sri Lanka for 1 year. Currently I am living in Utrecht, Netherlands since February 2022.

I have been lecturing university students in several private universities in Sri Lanka on a wide range of computer science modules including Software Engineering Concepts, Programming Applications and Frameworks, Programming Languages and Human Computer Interaction. I also have been developing a few internal systems and research projects in the university. During my career in the industry, I have worked with local and international clients on critical software applications.

During my time in academia and industry I have been mostly working in Java and Python and C. I have hands-on knowledge and experience in Java, Javascript, J2EE, OOP concepts, Data Structures, MySQL, Maven, Tomcat, Jupyter notebook, Eclipse, Netbeans. I am an expert on Git. I have experiences in conducting lectures, tutorials and practicals online via Zoom, Teams. I also have conducted live coding workshops while answering students' questions. I have taught basic computer skills for non-IT professionals such as Nurses and Government officers too.

I can teach Computer Science/ Information Technology subjects for secondary school children and undergraduates all around the world in English medium.
