My teaching philosophy is based on posting a problem and help students to learn the concept by solving the problem. Furthermore, I help students to learn beyond classrooms.
Interactive online lectures / tutorials are pretty much an engagement from both students and instructors. Therefore, for any online learning session to be successful, I strongly recommend students to be fully engaged and interactively participating in the online tutorial / session.
I strongly recommend that students summarize their topics using their own writing prior to any tutoring sessions. This will help students to dig more for possible hidden knowledge and have the basic of the topic along with questions to raise during the interactive sessions.
The communication and online delivery tools are very important towards achieving a great tutorial outcome and good impact on students’ performance.
Finally, I believe for any engagement to succeed, it requires both parties’ commitment.
